Sewage treatment plant in Kapuściska II modernization of the sewage treatment plant

After 4 years, we are continuing the modernization of one of the largest sewage treatment plants in the vicinity of Bydgoszcz. In November this year. As a consortium leader, PTB Nickel Technologia has signed a contract for the second stage of the modernization of the Kapuściska wastewater treatment plant and for the implementation of an intelligent management system for water and sewage networks.

As part of the investment, we will modernize and replace used elements of the mechanical and biological part of the treatment plant, modernize energy and I&C systems, and air-tighten odor-nuisance facilities (including the installation of biofilters and an acid gas neutralizer). A big challenge for the project will be the implementation of the intelligent reservoir retention control system (SIZ-RZ) and the expansion of the existing SCADA system, including measuring devices, water and sewage network control. The investment will be implemented in the "design and build" system.

The project will cost over PLN 76 million and will end in 2021.
